“Quiet Read” is my new freeware application that lets you save any link for later. Here is the download link. Quiet Read is available in Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.
Sometimes, when I am browsing the web, I want to store a link for later. There are note taking applications and everything-buckets to do that, but I wanted something light and simple. Simple as dragging a link onto a menu bar item to store it.
Here is what you’ll get once you launch Quiet Read:

To review your link, click the menu bar icon:

And to quit, right click for the menu:

If you want Quiet Read to launch at boot up, go to System Preferences, Accounts, then Login Items and add it to the list. You can also drag this link to your bookmarks bar to get the bookmarklet.
Quiet Read is completely free. It needs Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6). Icon by Myrto Orfanoudaki
