Using Keep Your Word: Tags

In the lasts posts, be have seen how you can organize your Words by creating a Groups hierarchy.

But, well, you know, hierarchies are not always good. Sometimes you need a more, let’s call it, horizontal way of organizing things.

That is what tags are for. Every time you add a Word to the dictionary you can tag it with whatever you want. Is is something that could be useful to remember when you are dinning out? You could tag is as “restaurant”, or “food”. Is it something that is related to shopping? You can tag it with “clothes” “shopping” “money”, for instance.

That way, when you later want to find all the words that are related to “shopping” you can just use the “Find” search field. Because, yes, searching also includes tags and comments.

And even better, you can use the tags to define what to include (or exclude) into a Smart Group.
